It’s a R-R-Ruff Life is a locally owned pet grooming salon that opened in 2009 dedicated to caring for pets like family. For years, families in our community have trusted us to provide gentle, reliable grooming in an environment where pets feel safe, calm, and loved.

Meet the Owner
Sharon Cox
My name is Sharon Cox, and I am the proud owner of It’s a R-R-Ruff Life. I purchased this business because I truly believe that when you love what you do, it shows in every interaction. This salon is more than a workplace to me. It is a place where every pet is treated with patience, kindness, and respect. The founding owner, Karen, has entrusted me with the reins of her cherished business, and I am beyond blessed to have been handpicked to carry the torch forward. I am grateful for the incredible team who helps make that happen. Together, we will continue the legacy Karen built — a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every dog who comes our way.

I have a lifelong love for animals, with a special soft spot for Golden Retrievers. My husband and I have three boys and one cat at home, and I understand firsthand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pets.

Katie
Dog Groomer​
Katie has been grooming and with us since we bought the business in 2009. She does a fabulous job on any breed of dog. Her customers love her as she has many request and is booked far in advance. She has 2 children, 2 dogs, 1 guinea pig, and chickens at home.
Lynzie
Dog Groomer
Lynzie has been grooming since 2014 and with us since 2015. She also has many requests and does a great job on all dogs and grooming styles. She has 1 baby boy, 3 dachshunds, and 1 cat at home.
Milly J. Smith
Grooming Assistant
Randa has been grooming since 2012 and with us since 2021. She has been a great addition to our team. She is skilled in all breeds and has many request dogs. She has 1 daughter, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens at home.
