It’s a R-R-Ruff Life is a locally owned pet grooming salon that opened in 2009 dedicated to caring for pets like family. For years, families in our community have trusted us to provide gentle, reliable grooming in an environment where pets feel safe, calm, and loved.
Our goal is simple: happy pets, confident owners, and grooming done with care and compassion.
Meet the Owner
Sharon Cox
My name is Sharon Cox, and I am the proud owner of It’s a R-R-Ruff Life. I truly believe that when you love what you do, it shows in every interaction. This salon is more than a workplace to me. It is a place where every pet is treated with patience, kindness, and respect. The founding owner, has entrusted me with the reins of her cherished business, and I am beyond blessed to have been handpicked to carry the torch forward. I am grateful for the incredible team who helps make that happen. Together, we will continue the legacy built — a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every dog who comes our way.
I have a lifelong love for animals, with a special soft spot for Golden Retrievers. My husband and I have three boys and one cat at home, and I understand firsthand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pets.

Meet the Team
Katie
Groomer
Katie has been grooming with us since 2009, when the business was first purchased. She works with all breeds and delivers consistent, high-quality results. She has a gentle, calm approach that helps dogs feel at ease during their groom. Many clients request her and book well in advance because they trust her work. At home, Katie stays busy with her two children, two dogs, a guinea pig, and chickens.
Alex
Groomer
Alex has been with us since 2018 and has several years of grooming experience prior to joining our team. She works with all breeds and styles and is highly requested by clients who trust her skill and consistency. At home, Alex stays busy with her three children and two dogs. She handles even the most challenging dogs with calm control and confidence, earning her a reputation as our quiet dog whisperer.
Charlee
Groomer
Charlee has been in the grooming industry since 2022 and does great work with many breeds. She loves to do de-sheds! At home, Charlee has two Jack Russells, a snake, and a horse.
Lynzie
Groomer
Lynzie has been grooming since 2014 and joined our team in 2015. She works with many breeds and grooming styles with care and precision. Her favourite pups to groom are Yorkies, Poms, Pekingese, and those big snorting Bulldogs! Many clients request Lynzie and book their appointment ahead because they trust her work. It is safe to say she probably has more pictures of their babies than they do. Outside of work, Lynzie stays busy chasing after her growing little boy and trying to keep her car-obsessed husband off Facebook Marketplace, because no, he does not need another car or motorcycle to add to the collection. Especially since her motorcycle is way cooler and faster anyway. She also has four little yappy Dachshunds she brings everywhere and a beautiful black cat who rules the house. If there is any time left after all the chaos she loves, she is usually sneaking in "just one more" plant before her husband gets home from work.
Katlyn
Groomer
Katlyn has been grooming since 2023 and has been with us since 2024. Over the years she has fell in love with doing Aussies and perfecting other breed cuts. She believes grooming isn’t just about making the dogs look cute but also providing a comfortable, happy, and caring environment and experience for them every time!
Haley
Office Manager
Haley holds an associates degree in pre-veterinary medicine and agriculture and she has earned her professional grooming certification, giving her a strong foundation in animal health and care. At home she’s a devoted wife and mother, as well as a proud dog mom to Sage and Goose. She understands that pets are family and she brings that same compassion and care to every grooming appointment.
Randa
Groomer
Randa has been grooming since 2012 and joined our team in 2021. She works with all breeds and brings strong skill and consistency to every groom. She has built a loyal following and is frequently requested by clients. At home, Randa stays busy with her daughter, four dogs, two cats, and chickens.
Andrew
Groomer
Andrew has been grooming since 2019 and joined our team in the summer of 2024. He works with all breeds but especially loves grooming Poodles and Doodle. Andrew is our dedicated cat groomer! He and his wife have a son and just welcomed their second little boy. At home, he cares for two dogs, five cats, a snake, two frogs, and a bearded dragon.
