A Quick Note to Our Clients

At It's A R-R-Ruff Life, we reserve dedicated time for every pet that visits us. Our groomers are paid per appointment, not by the hour, so each scheduled appointment is an important part of their day. When an appointment is cancelled on short notice or missed entirely, it often leaves time that cannot be filled and results in lost income for the groomer who had reserved that time for your pet.
We understand that unexpected situations can happen, but these missed appointments can have a meaningful impact on the groomers who work hard to care for your pets.

To help support our grooming team while continuing to provide the best possible service and appointment availability for all clients, we will be implementing the following policies moving forward. These policies are common among many service-based businesses, including veterinary clinics, medical offices, and salons.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. While we understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen, repeated same-day cancellations, missed appointments, or excessive same day rescheduling may result in a cancellation fee and/or prepayment being required for future appointments.
When determining whether a fee will apply, we will take all circumstances into consideration.

No Call No Show
Missed appointments without notice may result in a charge of up to 50% of the scheduled service for a first missed appointment and up to 100% for repeated missed appointments. Clients with multiple missed appointments may also be required to prepay for future appointments. Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future service.

Late Pickup

You will be contacted when your pet is ready for pickup.

A 15-minute grace period is provided for pickups after closing time. After the grace period, a late pickup fee of $10 per 15 minutes may apply.
